This interactive workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the requirements of an (ASP) and enable them to draft and review such programmes.
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Target Population
It is recommended that nominees be at the senior- or middle-management level within the State’s appropriate authority, or within an airport where they are responsible for the approval, quality control, drafting, updating, and/or implementation of Aviation Security Programmes (ASPs). It is also recommended that participants have attended a specialized Aviation Security (AVSEC) training activity, such as the ICAO National Civil Aviation Security Programme Workshop or Management Course, prior to attending this workshop.

- Determine the appropriate methodology required to develop an Airport Security Programme and the processes to ensure its maintenance, updates, and revisions; and
- Develop and draft an Airport Security Programme.
